PURCHASING APPLICATIONS

Using Naologic's bill management app, you can keep tabs on your paid and unpaid bills whilst both manually and automatically registering accepted payments.

How do I create a new bill?

Bills are created directly from purchase orders

  1. Navigate to your Purchase Orders App which is within the Purchasing navigation tab in your top-level menu
  2. From the main table, identify the generate bill option
  3. Specify the bill due date
  4. Click generate bill
  5. You're now taken to the bills table from which you will see the newly generated bill with a default status of unpaid

How do I send a bill to my customer or vendor?

  1. Navigate to your bills app which is within the Purchasing navigation tab in your top-level menu
  2. From the main table, identify the bill you wish to send to your customer and/or vendor
  3. Hover over the row and identify the email option
  4. Verify that the email the bill will be sent to is correct
  5. Hit send
  6. That's it!

How do I view a bill as my customer or vendor will view it?

  1. Navigate to your bills app which is within the Purchasing navigation tab in your top-level menu
  2. From the main table, identify the bill you wish to send to your customer and/or vendor
  3. Hover over the row and identify the view option
  4. You're now taken to the PDF viewer from where you can see the full bill and communicate with your vendor and/or customer in the comments section

How do I void a bill?

  1. Navigate to your bills app which is within the Purchasing navigation tab in your top-level menu
  2. From the main table, identify the bill you wish to mark as void
  3. Hover over the row and identify the void option
  4. Confirm your action
  5. That's it!

Please note that voided bills cannot be reversed back to active.

How do I edit a bill?

It is not possible to edit a bill. To change the details of a bill, you will need to go to the purchase order table and change the details of your purchase order before generating a new bill.
