Using Naologic's purchase order (PO) app, you can keep tabs on official offers issued by buyers to sellers with types, quantities, and agreed prices for products or services.

How do I create a new purchase order?

  1. Navigate to your Purchase Orders App which is within the Purchasing navigation tab in your top-level menu
  2. From the main table, identify the Add new purchase order option
  3. Start populating the purchase order with the relevant information around the vendor, customer, shipping address, product(s), payment terms and shipping details
  4. When all is populated, verify the information in the summary column in the right of your screen and when happy, hit create purchase order

How do I add products to my purchase orders?

When selecting products for your purchase orders, the options you have available are pulled directly from the products you've created for your company in your product listings app. Once you've added your products there, they'll be selectable from the dropdown you choose from when you create a purchase order.

How do I add customers to my purchase orders?

The customer list you choose from when creating a purchase order is pulled directly from your contacts on file. To add options to your customer dropdowns when creating purchase orders, simply go to your contacts and create a new entry there.

How do I send a purchase order to my customer or vendor?

  1. Navigate to your Purchase Orders App which is within the Purchasing navigation tab in your top-level menu
  2. From the main table, identify the purchase order you wish to send to your customer and/or vendor
  3. Hover over the row and identify the send email option
  4. Verify that the email the purchase order will be sent to is correct
  5. Hit send
  6. That's it!

How do I view a purchase order as my customer or vendor will view it?

  1. Navigate to your Purchase Orders App which is within the Purchasing navigation tab in your top-level menu
  2. From the main table, identify the purchase order you wish to send to your customer and/or vendor
  3. Hover over the row and identify the view option
  4. You're now taken to the PDF viewer from where you can see the full purchase order and communicate with your vendor and/or customer in the comments section

How do I delete a purchase order?

  1. Navigate to your Purchase Orders App which is within the Purchasing navigation tab in your top-level menu
  2. From the main table, identify the purchase order you wish to delete
  3. Hover over the row and identify the delete option
  4. Confirm your action
  5. That's it!

How do I generate a bill from an approved purchase order?

  1. Navigate to your Purchase Orders App which is within the Purchasing navigation tab in your top-level menu
  2. From the main table, identify the purchase order you wish to send to your customer and/or vendor
  3. Hover over the row and identify the generate bill option
  4. Specify the bill due date
  5. That's it, your purchase order will now show a status of complete and a corresponding bill will be available in the bills app

How do I edit a purchase order?

  1. Navigate to your Purchase Orders App which is within the Purchasing navigation tab in your top-level menu
  2. From the main table, identify the purchase order you wish to send to your customer and/or vendor
  3. Hover over the row and identify the edit option
  4. Make any changes needed
  5. Save the purchase order
  6. That's it!
