Responsibilities
- Have a deep understanding of kubernetes and Docker
- Familiar with the ELK stack
- Creating and maintaining kubernetes application logic
- Collaborate with backend-end developers on deployment strategies
- Write high quality, readable and testable configs
- Design and optimise applications for high performance, high availability and low latency
- Work on security and data protection
- Incorporate data storage solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation
- Good understanding of kubernetes, docker
- Familiarity with the ELK stack
- Working knowledge of helm package management and the tools ecosystem
- Ability to model and apply authorization and permission control between dockers
- Knowledge of how to incorporate different data sources and databases and how to deliver optimal output to different client platforms
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery procedures and tools
