A neuro-fuzzy system and a learning algorithm are integrated to form the Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System. Learning from data and making predictions based on it is ANFIS's unique capacity. In order for the network to learn and adjust to new input, the learning algorithm modifies the weights of the connections between the neurons.
