Augmented Reality - Is augmented reality considered AI?

The term "augmented reality" (AR) refers to the practice of superimposing digital content, such as photos or data, over our view of the real world using gadgets like smart glasses or smartphones. In contrast, "AI" (which stands for "Artificial Intelligence") describes the development of computational systems capable of performing activities often associated with human intellect. Since both AR and AI are cutting-edge technologies, it follows that AR does not constitute AI.
