Chain Of Thought - What is meant by chain of thought?

What we call "chain-of-thought prompting" is actually a method for training big language models to solve problems better in a variety of contexts, including mathematical, commonsense, and symbolic reasoning. The basic idea is to incorporate a series of intermediate reasoning processes, or a chain of thinking, into the few-shot prompting process.
