Data Augmentation - What is an example of data augmentation?

An instance of data augmentation can be seen in techniques applied to images. These techniques include geometric transformations, where images are randomly flipped, cropped, rotated, or translated. Other techniques involve color space transformations where RGB color channels are adjusted or any color is intensified. Kernel filters are also used to either sharpen or blur an image.
