Decision Boundary - What is a good decision boundary?

The best choice boundary is the one where, given equal misclassification costs, the chance of class membership is half. It is decided by an appropriate scoring procedure that assesses the accuracy of the probability estimates given by logistic regression and other probabilistic classifiers.
