Discriminative Models - Is CNN a discriminative model?

A Discriminative model, such as a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), can be employed to classify artworks according to their creative style. In order for the CNN to properly categorize the paintings, it must first learn to recognize discriminative elements and the decision boundary that differentiates between various creative styles.
