Forward Propagation - Is feed-forward the same as forward propagation?

During the output generation process, data can only travel in one direction—from input to output—in a feed-forward network arrangement. This stops a loop from starting that might reduce output. It follows that forward propagation can be facilitated by a feed-forward network.
