Both generative AI and artificial intelligence rely on machine learning techniques to generate their results. They do, however, fulfill different purposes and goals. Generative AI is designed to create new content, whereas artificial intelligence (AI) is more profound and broad, essentially going wherever the algorithm creator wants it to go.
