Generative Pretrained Transformers (GPTs) are a type of machine learning framework that doesn't rely on the adversarial relationship between a generator and discriminator found in Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). Instead, a GPT is trained on a specific task beforehand to prepare it for performing a similar task in the future.
