Inference - What is an inference example?

Inferences are conclusions that may be logically inferred from evidence and existing knowledge. As humans, we are always drawing conclusions. For example, you may assume that someone doesn't like a new dish if they make a face when they sample it. You can also assume that someone is angry when they slam the door.
