Model Parameter - What are model parameters and hyperparameters?

The parameters of a model are its internal workings; they are what the model learns from the data in order for it to recognize patterns. Contrarily, hyperparameters are the factors that control how the model is trained; they are not learnt from the data like parameters are, but they must be established before training begins.
