Monte Carlo - Is Monaco and Monte-Carlo the same place?

There are nine districts that comprise the Principality of Monaco, and one of them is Monte-Carlo. The 80-hectare region, which was once called the Spélugues plateau (after the Monegasque name for the caves there), comprised 21% of the Principality's land.
