Question

Open Mind Common Sense - Is common sense a form of intelligence?

Answer

The two concepts of intellect and common sense are frequently considered to be distinct. It is not unusual to come across people who are very smart but stupid, and vice versa: people who are very sensible but not very smart could not do well on conventional tests of intelligence. At times, they overlap, but generally speaking, they are separate features.
