Sensor Fusion - How does a sensor fusion work?

Information from several separate sensors is combined to provide a more complete picture in sensor fusion. When all of these sensors work together, they can detect things that a single sensor couldn't. One use of this is determining the angle between two body parts using sensors that are connected to them.
