Topic Modeling - What is a topic model in LDA?

One use of Topic Modeling in Natural Language Processing (NLP) is to discover and extract latent themes from large text document sets. Documents are represented as a collection of latent themes discovered in the text using algorithms such as Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA).
