Training Set - What is the difference between training set and dataset?

There are two main categories of datasets used in machine learning. The training data is a subset of the whole dataset that is used to teach the machine learning model how to spot patterns. It is the first of these components. The model is well trained by this procedure. The second group is known as the data used for testing.
