While both cloud native and serverless approach to abstraction, the degree to which they do so differs. By extending cloud native solutions' abstraction to incorporate containerized workloads, serverless computing gives developers access to dynamic resource pools, whereas cloud native solutions abstract infrastructure all the way up to the operating system level.
