The Domain Name System (DNS) on the Internet is usually used by CDNs to execute dynamic request routing [11]. Full qualified domain names (FQDNs) are translated into IP addresses via the distributed directory known as the DNS. A DNS client queries its local DNS server to get the address of a FQDN.
