Reorder Level - What is the difference between reorder level and reorder quantity?

A company needs to place a new purchase order for a fresh supply of an inventory item when the reorder level is reached, which is the stock level of that item. On the other hand, the reorder quantity is the magnitude, or the number of units, of that item.
