For the purposes of this definition, "IT Applications" refers to any software, data, operating system, or middleware that is hosted on or connected to IT Infrastructure. This also encompasses any and all IT software and hardware that isn't specifically included in the IT Infrastructure. Applications in the field of information technology also include software interfaces and source code.
