Controllability - How do you determine controllability?

When it is possible to apply control signals to a dynamic system and direct it to any state within a specific time limit, we say that the system is controllable. This quality is referred to as reachability as well. For the purpose of determining controllability, the controllability matrix can be calculated using either state matrices or a state-space model.
