Correlation - What is an example of a correlation?
Answer
When two variables are statistically related, we say that there is a correlation between the two. A linear relationship between two variables is quantified by this metric. For instance, there is a correlation between a person's weight and their height; generally speaking, taller persons tend to weigh more than shorter ones. A wide range of data sets may be used to apply correlation.
