Correlation - What is the mean of the correlation?
Answer
One way to quantify the degree to which two variables are related statistically is by looking at their correlation coefficient. A number between -1 and 1 is possible for it. If the correlation coefficient is negative 1, it means that the two series are inversely related; when one series' values rise, the other's values fall, and vice versa.
