Crossover - What is considered a crossover?

Passenger utility vehicles built on a car or unibody base are currently known as crossovers. Essentially, a crossover is just an SUV with a car's frame attached to it. Compared to SUVs, crossovers are more fuel-efficient, smaller, lighter, and roomier than standard automobiles.
