Deep Blue - Has anyone ever beaten Deep Blue?


The chess matches between then-world chess champion Garry Kasparov and IBM's supercomputer Deep Blue consisted of two six-game sets. The first match, held in Philadelphia in 1996, was won by Kasparov with a score of 4–2. However, Deep Blue triumphed in the 1997 rematch in New York City with a score of 3½–2½.
