Deep Blue - Why was Deep Blue dismantled?

Despite Kasparov's demands for a rematch, IBM turned down the offer since it had already dismantled Deep Blue after its victory. In order to fix any issues with the computer's approach that were discovered throughout the match, the programmers were able to alter the software in between games thanks to the regulations.
