Generative Adversarial Network - What is GAN and how does it work?

One part of a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) learns to generate plausible data, while the other part, the discriminator, learns to tell the difference between the two. The discriminator is trained using the instances produced by the generator, which are negative examples.
