Hyperparameters - What is a hyperparameter in deep learning?

Prior to beginning the training phase of the model, the values of certain parameters, known as hyperparameters, are established. A model's number of hyperparameters can range from a few to several hundred in deep learning models such as convolutional neural network (CNN) and recurrent neural network (RNN) models.
