Lazy Learning - What are the disadvantages of lazy learning?

There are some theoretical downsides to sluggish learning, notwithstanding its benefits. Among these is the substantial amount of space needed to store the complete training dataset. In practice, though, this is usually not an issue because of improvements in technology and the tiny amount of qualities (such as co-occurrence frequency) that require storage.
