Modus Tollens - What is modus tollens simple?

At its core, modus tollens is just a way of reasoning that uses hypotheticals. The denial of the consequent (B) follows the denial of the antecedent (A). "If A is true, then B is true" is the simplest way to put it. On the other hand, if B is untrue, A must also be untrue.
