Digital Records - What is considered a digital record?

A document that was originally developed in a digital environment or a document that is digitalized from a physical one are both examples of digital records. Documents created on computers, such as Word documents or scanned paper forms, are examples. Conversely, computer systems are the only places where electronic records may be generated and maintained.
