Asynchronous Learning - What is an example of synchronous vs asynchronous?

Synchronous communication includes things like phone conversations and online meetings. When there is no need for a specific time stamp to convey data, we say that the communication is asynchronous. Because it doesn't demand instantaneous action, the receiver can reply whenever it's most convenient for them.
