Individual App Settings

Control application-wide configurations from a dedicated settings page.

The Individual App Settings page in Naologic provides a centralized location for managing configurations that affect the entire app. This feature is ideal for defining parameters like inventory controls, approval workflows, and other settings that influence how the app functions globally.

Installing Individual App Settings

  1. Navigate to the Desired Project
    From the Builder Overview, locate and select the project where you want to add the app settings page.

  2. Access the Individual App Canvas
    Within the selected project, hover over the desired app and click Access App Flow to open the app where you want to add the settings.

  3. Open Add Elements
    Click the "+" button on the left side of the app canvas to open the Add Elements menu.

  4. Search for Individual App Settings
    Use the search bar to find Individual App Settings Page.

  5. Drag and Drop to Install
    Drag the settings page onto the app canvas to install it in the appropriate location within your project.

Setting Up Individual App Settings

  1. Connect to a Data Document

    • After installing, hover over the settings page component and click Edit.
    • In Settings, select the Data Document that will store and retrieve the configuration values. This enables the settings page to load and save the app-wide parameters that users define.
  2. Configure in Element Studio

    • Hover over the component and click Access Element Studio.
    • Within Element Studio, add and arrange the controls needed for managing various global parameters, such as dropdowns, toggles, or text fields for configuring inventory rules, approval settings, or other key options.

The Individual App Settings page allows for effective management of app-wide configurations from a single location. By linking the settings page to a data document and configuring the necessary fields, you ensure that users can easily manage and update key parameters that influence the app's behavior and functionality.
