Calculate Order Actions

Automate the calculation of costs and quantities across different business processes.

The Calculate Order action offers multiple variations depending on specific business needs, including Sales, Inventory Management, and Manufacturing. Each variation enables the calculation of different metrics, automating processes and ensuring accurate data handling.

Variations of the Calculate Order Action

    • Calculate Order Value

Installing Calculate Order Actions

  1. Navigate to the Desired Project
    From the Builder Overview, locate and select the project where you want to install the specific Calculate Order action.

  2. Access the Individual App Canvas
    Within the selected project, hover over the desired app and click Access App Flow to open the app where you want to add the action.

  3. Open Add Elements
    Click the “+” button on the left side of the app canvas to open the Add Elements panel. Select Actions under User Interface.

  4. Search for Calculate Order
    Use the search bar to find the Calculate Order action.

  5. Drag and Drop to Install
    Drag the selected action onto the app flow to install it at the point where you want the calculation to take place.

  6. Select the Type of Calculate Order
    After installation, hover over the action and click Edit. Selecting the "Calculate order value" header will open a submenu with a search bar, allowing you to search and choose from other available Calculate functions based on your needs.

Setting Up Calculate Order Actions

The setup for each Calculate Order action may vary, but the configuration process is designed to be straightforward using a fill-in-the-blank form. This form helps specify the required Data Documents that the action will interact with, ensuring accurate calculations based on your business needs.

  1. Access the Action Settings
    After installing the Calculate Order action, hover over it and click Edit to open the settings.

  2. Select Process Type and Data Documents

    • In the Action Settings, connect the Data Collection that will have the permissions to interact with this action.
    • To select the process type, clicking the "Calculate order value" header will open a submenu with a search bar, allowing you to search and choose from other available Calculate functions based on your needs.
  3. Follow the Guided Form
    The form will guide you through selecting the appropriate Data Documents needed for the calculation. Each field is labeled to indicate the type of data it should connect to, helping you ensure that the Calculate Order action pulls the right information from your system.
