  1. Connect to a Data Document

    • After installing the nested modal, hover over it and click Edit.

  2. Configure in Element Studio

    • Hover over the modal and click Access Element Studio.
    • Within Element Studio, add and configure the necessary elements (e.g., text fields, dropdowns, buttons) that will allow users to interact with the data fetched from the selected Data Document. Arrange and customize these elements based on the requirements for this secondary layer of interaction.

Setting up the Modal Belonging to Parent Modal provides an organized way to manage layered data interactions within your app. By linking it to the appropriate data document and configuring it with the necessary elements, you ensure users can handle secondary tasks directly within the parent modal, keeping workflows efficient and reducing the need for multiple screens.
