Delete Data Entries Action

Remove specified records from your database to keep information relevant and up-to-date.

The Delete Data Entries action in Naologic allows users to delete one or more records from a dataset. This action is essential for data management, enabling users to remove outdated or irrelevant information from the database, such as obsolete customer profiles or canceled orders.

Installation for Delete Data Entries

  1. Navigate to the Desired Project
    From the Builder Overview, locate and select the project where you want to add the delete action.

  2. Access the Individual App Canvas
    Within the selected project, hover over the desired app and click Access App Flow to open the app where you want to add the action.

  3. Open Add Elements
    Click the "+" button on the left side of the app canvas to open the Add Elements menu.

  4. Search for Delete Data Entries Action
    Go to User Interface > Actions and use the search bar to locate Delete Data Entries.

  5. Drag and Drop to Install
    Drag the action onto the app canvas to add it to your project.

Setup for Delete Data Entries

  1. Configure Action Settings
    • After installation, hover over the action and click Edit to access the configuration panel.
    • In Action Settings, select the Data Document that contains the records you wish to delete. This ensures the action targets the correct data source, allowing users to delete specified records effectively.

The Delete Data Entries action provides a straightforward way to manage data within your app by allowing users to remove unneeded records. By setting up this action to target the appropriate data document, users can keep datasets clean and relevant, ensuring efficient data management across the application.
