Working with Elements
Understanding App Elements
Elements are fundamental building blocks in the Naologic Builder, used in the creation and structuring of any given app. This guide aims to help you understand how to navigate to an individual app's canvas, use different elements, and comprehend their functions and configurations.
Locating the App Elements
- Access the Project Canvas: Navigate to the desired project in the Builder Overview and open the Project Canvas by clicking on it.
- Open the App Flow: Hover over the app you wish to modify and click on "Access app flow."
- Open the Elements Menu: On the middle left side of the individual app canvas, you'll find a plus sign (+). Clicking on it will open a modal where you can find the available Elements.
Utilizing Elements in Your App
In the elements menu, you will find a variety of building blocks that can be used as foundational elements in the application you're building. These elements range from basic ones like a PDF viewer, a table, or a dashboard, to more advanced elements like modals and full-screen forms.
Each element comes with an elaborate description, including its own set of settings and configurations. Once dropped onto a canvas, these elements can be tied together with other elements to create a functional flow in your app. For example, a table can be linked with a form to create an entry in the table. This entry will then be associated with the data you wish to store back into the table.
The ability to effectively utilize interface elements is essential for building dynamic and interactive Naologic applications. Experiment with different combinations of elements to create unique and engaging user experiences.
